By doing this you alternate the bricks in a vertical and horizontal way.

Use them to build a small retaining wall around your flowerbed. Brick is also a big help with water gardens. Use the brick to encase the area around the water. It will add warmth and added stability to the water feature.

Brick pathways and sidewalks

Crushed brick has a tendency to sink into the ground. In order to prevent the brick particles from getting lost into the soil, line the bottom of the walkway with landscape fabric. Do the basket weave with this idea also. You will get many great compliments on your design for sure.
